ROBIN AND BUDDY WALLACE

OWNERS

Robin and Buddy Wallace are Lake Harding locals, who actually met more than 14 years ago at the location that is now 219 Food and Spirits. They are foodies, music lovers, and are passionate about their community. For years, during Buddy and Robin's travels across the US, they would seek out local establishments looking for unique, local experiences. When presented with an opportunity to buy the place that meant so much to them and the locals, they took their vision for the perfect local hangout and turned it into what is now 219 Food and Spirits. Their dream has become a destination for a great meal, live music, and a place to hang out with friends and family. Buddy & Robin have one daughter, Laken. The Wallace Family invites you to dinner so you can experience for yourself how they are #putting219onthemap.

SAM SCHIFFMAN

EXECUTIVE CHEF

Award-winning Executive Chef Sam Schiffman began his culinary journey in the kitchen more than 12 years ago. After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in 2009, Sam worked in steakhouses and French Fine Dining restaurants from Ashville, NC to Sarasota, Fl, before returning to his hometown of Columbus, GA. Chef Sam joined 219 Food and Spirits as Executive Chef in 2016. He brings his varied experience and true love of food to 219. For Sam, having the freedom to cook the way he wants, and the ability to create amazing specials each week allows him to keep the menu fresh and keep the guests coming back for more. Chef Sam believes that the most flavorful cuisine is made with the highest quality products. Presentation is also important to Chef Sam, and he enjoys everyone first eating with their eyes, but ultimately it is the flavor that keeps everybody coming back. Sam's wife Laurin, is a huge part of the 219 family and can be found most days managing one of the three 219 locations. Between them, they have three children, Ryleigh, Gracie, and Mack.
